Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamari Warren-Hayes.
Detroit transplant Jamari Warren, better known as ‘MariTrustMe’ is a rapper, singer/songwriter, music producer, and style influencer, who’ve mapped his roots in music from the very beginning. Coming from a strong music milieu, Jamari, began indulging into his craft at the tender age of five-years-old. He, alongside his parents who avidly immersed him in talent, shows scripted around music, later helped with the furthering of his passion for music, both: artistically and more importantly, stylistically.
With that, the stage-name “MariTrustMe” is an epitome brand that surfaced within himself to help overcome the many personal adversities, which halted him but never deterred him from actively pursuing his passion/purpose.
Like a rose, he has risen through the concrete and has begun to flourish. ‘Trust’ to him means: reliability, truth, and strength, which epitomizes the use of the peculiar and monographic rose in which he relates [love, confidence, prosperity, and integrity]. ‘Trust’ and ‘Me’ in his name, symbolizes the many hearts he plans on touching, with the embodiment of his music.
Has it been a smooth road?
Some of the struggles I faced were family members telling me I didn’t have the look or the talent to follow my dreams. People I depended on when I was 16 just left me high and dry when life started to unfold. For a long time, I blamed my lack of success on “writer’s block” but I honestly don’t think that was it. I accepted black magic which is agreeing with what others had to say about me even though it wasn’t true. After that, I picked up the camera for a little while and I was taking pictures of influencers, models, and artist in Atlanta. I even managed artist, creative directed them and rebranded artist to appeal to their audience. Let’s just say elevation required separation with the reason why we are no longer together as a unit. An from there the same energy I was putting into other people I began to put into myself. That relationship specifically with those people I was working with helped me realize who I was and what my calling was to do all over again. At first, I was lost, but I found myself through my music and just loving and letting go of all anger that I had built up. Once I got to know myself, everything I wanted started to pour in for me. My friends from high school invited me to the studio one day B1uan and Wooski, I just went over there to take pictures of them. And I jokingly said I want to get on a song, and they said ” if you’re going to do this you’re going to do this for real, you’re going to record yourself, make beats and write.” from there, there was no looking back. Three years later we are here over 50,000 + listeners on Soundcloud and growing.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a business owner, along with music, I own my own record Lable called Gifted Genius Enterprises. I started that back in 2014, it was a clothing line at first, but I didn’t really have a passion for making clothes I just liked to dress & then eventually, I found out what it really meant to me and now its a representation of everything I do in a whole. It’s a creative umbrella and we also partnered with other businesses. Such as Take Risk And Profit investment group where we exchange currencies in the foreign exchange market. Teaching people about financial literacy and how they do not exchange their time for money, but how they can make money on their own time. With this skill & other business ventures, I plan on going into Real estate, buying land, homes, opening up businesses, e-commerce, and creating generation wealth not only for my blood family but for my investment family also.
So, in a nutshell, I’m a Contemporary R&B artist, singer, songwriter, rapper. Business owner and forex educator and investor. And I’m known for showing love, my music and helping people change their lives financially, And spiritually. Plus, my influence on social media and through the creative community in Atlanta.
I’m most proud and grateful for where we are now because I know where we are going and this is only the beginning.
What sets me apart from everyone else is, I don’t look back, I don’t look left or right I focus on what I have going on and I keep it moving. Everything I do through the generosity and I vibrate on the frequency of love and abundance so there for all things, I positively desire comes easily and swiftly into my experience. I don’t believe in competition, there is enough prosperity for everyone out here. Just be you and do you, C R E A T E.
What are your plans for the future? What are you looking forward to or planning for – any big changes?
In the next five years, I will be #1 on billboards, hot 100, R&b, Hip Hop. Nominated and won Grammies and different musical accolades. Albums streaming over billions and videos. Traveling the world doing what I love. Also still investing and changing people lives through financial literacy and spiritual growth. I will be chairman 500 in my company of forex. Gifted Genius will have its own building, studio, real-estate, shares in stocks, business such as nail salons, restaurants, car lots, Airbnb, jets, you name it, We have it!
I am one of the biggest moguls to ever run business and be successful at a very young age. I will be #1 on the Forbes list richest men.
I am going in history as one of the best musical artists of all time along with Michael Jackson, The Beatles, The Temptations, The Isley Brothers, Erykah Badu, J Cole, etc.
