Today we’d like to introduce you to Niesha Nichole Alexander.
Legacy Lashes was started by Niesha Nichole upon the birth of her nephew Legend who passed away only 3 months after birth. Legend was known for his “amazing lashes” which Niesha decided would be his legacy creating the name Legacy Lashes.
Niesha has over 15 years in the beauty industry, with her start being as a stylist assistant to the late Vera Lyles. She has dedicated her life to learning every aspect of the beauty industry to reveal the inner beauty of each of her clients. Her passion for beauty and commitment to great skin, flawless make up, lashes to die for, and corrective skin treatments to enhance confidence to embrace personal beauty in every client.
Legacy Lashes will be opening their first physical location 4/14/17 in Cartersville, Ga.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it was definitely a challenge! I started Cosmetology school 3 times and apprentice for years. I would always have to resort to going back into corporate America. It was not until the death of my nephew that I face my fears and realized life is too short not to take a chance. I threw in my safety net, went back to school, invested in several certifications and doors started to open. Prayer and faith.
Legacy Lashes – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Legacy Lashes is an all-around beauty studio. We specialize in skin, however lash extensions is what seemed to have taken over. I would have to say customer focus is what we are most proud of. We listen, we care, we analyze, and we deliver. We tailor each interaction and each service to the client. What sets us apart is that we work for the love of what we do and because of that people trust us and believe in us.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment was actually being able to have a physical location that Legacy Lashes can call a home. To me it was like wow I can see everything starting to manifest! We can now serve these clients in a way they deserve!
