Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacole Kimbrough.
Jacole, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Growing up, I always had a love for fashion. Constantly wanted to mimic my favorite celebrities outfits! lol. I would build my future looks on Pinterest boards and overtime at the pieces to my closet. I would always find myself sharing outfit ideas with friends for events, trying to be a stylist to everyone around me, lol. Being the oldest of four girls, I’ve always had to set trends for my sisters to follow. Although we are all our own individuals, they were able to help me create the vision for the House of JL. The name itself comes from my sisters and I share the initials JLK. With the combined love for fashion and helping others around me embrace their inner confidence and display it through their clothing House of JL was created.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Getting to where we currently have not been easy but it has definitely been worth it, We’ve only been open for a year now so I know this is just the beginning of many more lessons to come. To be able to take something that started from a hobby and turn it into my everyday life is one of the biggest blessings I could ask for. Being a business owner has taught me the importance of time management and staying organized. I’m excited to see what the future has in store for us!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about House Of JL Boutique – what should we know?
