Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Durham.
Nadia is a Wardrobe Stylist and owner of The Styl’d Suite of Atlanta, Georgia. As a theater major at the prestigious Arts High School in Newark, NJ, Nadia was given the opportunity to flex her artistic talents and served as the wardrobe stylist for the renowned plays “Little Shop of Horrors”, “To Be Young Gifted & Black” and “The Laramie Project.” After high school she received her B.A in Fashion Management from The Art Institute of Atlanta in 2011. After her time on the New York scene, Nadia decided to head back to Atlanta where she worked as a freelance stylist and visual merchandiser for MudPie. Subsequently, she would go on to start her own business, The Styl’d Suite.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
The Styl’d Suite is a styling studio that caters to all of the upscale and customary male fashion needs. The Styl’d Suite also offers: personal shopping, closet auditing, wardrobe styling (on and offset), as well as acting as an agency for their showroom-featured designer clients by connecting them with beauty industry professionals for current and future endeavors.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Georgia is still growing in terms of fashion and has a long way to go if it wants to compete with its counterparts. They need more real designers to have style houses here in order to be taken seriously.
