Today we’d like to introduce you to Celisse Clark.
Celisse, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I first went to school for Graphic Design and a portion of it was photography. The more I researched images for placement the more interesting it became. Therefore, I graduated and went to school for photography. Though I enjoyed and learned more by being an assistant to others. I meet famous people yet just being in different scenes made the task more challenging. Having to understand how to engage people to get the shot. Through it all it made me better.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been an easy task. It’s my passion yet sometimes the challenging part is getting people to pay what your worth. I use to assist one person for 8 hours and only paid $30 it was an insult. I have a child to feed and I can’t tell someone else what they are worth. Why can’t I not be haggled. Therefore, it made my passion for photography waiver at times.
Kreed Photography – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Well, Keed Photography means faith, a journey we are on in the photography industry. We specialize in growing with the family. This Intel’s from engagement to baby first birthday. My favorite to photograph is maternity, newborns and engagements. These you can be the most creative. What sets me apart is that I have experience with working with infants to school age kids. I can get your kid to smile at almost any moment. I’m just a humble photographer.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Defining success is no longer working a 9-5 and making this a full-time career. Leaving my 9-5.
