Conversations with the Inspiring Meaux

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meaux.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Well, stories tend to have chapters and layers within them. I can’t say that I envisioned having a certain path. I just kind of waved with the wind. After moving to Atlanta, I just seemed to be pulled into a knowing. A knowing of my likes, dislikes, my own self worth, boundaries and so forth.

Having attracted things that force you into stillness and solitude, you don’t always enjoy what you discover. Despite that heavier side, it’s still it’s very healthy to just find something of gratitude to embrace and hold on to. Through these seasons, I realized that I am supposed to live and not exist. For me, living has acts of service written all over it. I fill the fullest when I am granted the opportunity to aid another being. Whether it be a human, the Earth, pets, plants, etc. I have to take care of and love on them. Love them like they are deserving and worthy. All I know is that by me giving love freely, I create a ripple in the Universe that breeds joy!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Most smooth roads come into play after a transition. The roads I traveled on were meant to be. The toughest one was the accident of 2009. I was working in Decatur and was on my way to my bus stop, and was hit by an SUV. I still have no recollection of it and so I’ve come to accept that as part of my protection. I suffered from a concussion and memory lost not to mention all the aches and pains. Some of which I still deal with today. Having attracted that situation was what was needed in order for me to grow within. That experience taught me many things and the most important one is to forgive yourself. After that, I attracted all kind of healing modalities. I had to forgive myself and lift the burden that was there from attracting that circumstance first. To the women that need to hear this. It’s imperative to forgive yourself and to stop holding onto a blaming state of mind. It takes practice but it’s so necessary. After that, you will be able to access the best thoughts and the best healing accommodations on your journey back to a full self.

What do you do? What do you specialize in?
I am a self-proclaimed Life Coach! It’s been and still is a common thing for me to be granted connections to the people who need some help or remembrance of some sort. I use a few different avenues to provide the best outcome. From Yoga, Nutrition, Spiritual assistance to binary beats affirmations and crystals Since we are multidimensional, we have to remember to work on all those areas of ourselves. To me, it’s the only way to get into alignment!!

I must say I’m most proud of me for being my own guide and for allowing my pain to shift for the greater good.

What do you feel are the biggest barriers today to female leadership, in your industry or generally?
The biggest barrier is our own ego! Egos are so nasty and judgmental. Creating the most intense falsification and unwanted thoughts. Putting our own egos aside and leading with love and with our hearts has monumental outcomes.
