Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a Journey of ups and down and highs and lows. I have found it is part of the process of being successful. I don’t necessarily see it as a struggle but as a challenge. I have found it challenging to tap into different markets and demographics, however, I have found that you have to consistently penetrate those markets and consistently show up to get noticed.

If you are passionate in your craft, opportunities will come as long as you are consistent and authentic with your brand. Accept the challenges and continue to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and expose yourself to new experiences.

Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a full-time event designer, stylist, and planner. I specialize in Event decor, which I absolutely love. I started out my career designing dessert tablescapes to create a lane for myself, at the time I saw the need for it in my city. I quickly got noticed as the go-to “sweets table” designer, after a couple of years of consistency other opportunities were presented to me to further my career into full-service event planning. I do all types of events from social to corporate however not weddings.
