Check out Avery McRae

Today we’d like to introduce you to Avery McRae.

Avery, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
Producer. Born and raised in Alabama, now residing in San Diego, CA. I’ve been producing for about 12 years now. I was an artist at one point, but I stopped to focus on production because I hated my beats. In the end, I never went back to being a rapper. Now I sell beats online, and I have a few major placements as well.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I’m a producer/audio engineer. I make beats on FL Studio. I record and mix vocals for artists in Pro Tools. My inspiration to produce comes from my love for music. Grew up listening to late 90s and early 2000s RnB — some hiphop. I just want my beats heard everywhere. I got something everybody likes.

Do current events, local or global, affect your work and what you are focused on?
Nothing affects my art.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
My website has a large catalog of my beats for purchase, www.ithinkwegotit.com.

Works that I have with artists usually can be streamed from anywhere.
