Today we’d like to introduce you to Lyndosha Jamison.
Lyndosha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My name is Lyndosha. I am an attorney, entrepreneur, and avid reader. When I am not assisting doctors with their contracts or risk management and burnout legal issues, then you can find me giving women personal development tips on how to live out their best lives. I write articles for my newsletter at Lyndosha.com. My newsletter is a part of my commitment to offering free content to women who are committed to growing personally no matter the obstacles they face on a daily basis. Women can sign up for my free newsletter at www.lyndosha.com. Matchless is a personal development brand and digital product that I created to help women build their internal self. Matchless focuses on helping to develop the entire woman (mind, character, and behavior). My ultimate goal is to help women move from misery to mastery by uncovering their identities and living it out entirely.
The Matchless Retreat Experience
I received the vision for the main event that I host, The Matchless Retreat, about two years ago. I was doing some reading in a hotel room in Ohio when a series of images started playing in my head.
Here is what I saw……
I saw a girl, getting off of a plane at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, Ga. She was focused and comfortable in her skin. She traveled from her plane, through the airport, to the area where the chauffeurs were located. She was looking for her name on a sign along with the Matchless Retreat Logo. When she approached the arrival location at the airport, she found the driver who held a sign with her name on it. He was holding the sign in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other. He was ready to greet her and take her bags. He escorted her to the car and said, “Miss, are you ready to attend one of the best events of your life?” Now there was so much more to the vision, but I won’t take all of your time discussing those details. Just know that I spent the next 2 hours writing out each detail of that vision. My journaling session from that day is the birthplace for the Matchless Retreat.
This year, The Matchless Mansion Retreat will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at one of Atlanta’s most elegant estates. The Matchless Mansion Retreat is a private event catering to bloggers, entrepreneurs, influencers, and professional women who are interested in taking their business skills and personal development to the next level. I am so excited to host another Matchless retreat this year. I want to help women move from misery to mastery by uncovering their identities and living life fully.
This year’s theme is beyond the surface, and we will be discussing the relationship between self-care and financial management and the programming is designed for the woman who wants to enhance her life both personally and professionally. Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My road has been one of steady growth. I try to remain focused on my goals, and this has helped me persevere through the various struggles that I have encountered over the years. I am also an avid reader. I didn’t grow up with many financial resources, so I spend much of my time reading books about financial management. My favorite book on financial management is the Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. Outside of the Bible, it is my go-to book for making financial decisions. I also encountered many difficulties as I matriculated through law school. I am the daughter of a single parent who worked hard to provide for my three siblings and me. She mostly worked in manufacturing to make sure that we had everything that we needed. As such, moving into the legal profession as an attorney was challenging because I didn’t have a lot of people around me who knew what it meant to endure and excel in that level of academic rigor. Every obstacle that I encountered while in law school, and as a lawyer, was new to me. I had to find mentors within my profession to assist me with the workload and emotional challenges that come with being an attorney.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Overall, I had a great childhood experience, so this is a hard question. One of my favorite memories is going to Myrtle Beach, SC, with my family. For some reason, the beach would excite me in ways that other places, such as mountains or parks, didn’t. My personality would open up whenever I saw the water. It still happens whenever I am near a beach now. I fell in love with the beach as a child.
