Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael “Money Karlo” Macon.
Growing up in South Atlanta, Riverdale College Park, Money Karlo first started producing music almost by accident. His producer was late to the studio in East Point, GA and the owner had allowed him to create his own beat. 30 minutes later the producer showed up, he had already created a great beat. That’s when the owner asked Money would he like a job at the studio as a producer and he proudly said “Yes”. Since then, Money Karlo has worked with big names in the music industry such as Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, Future, 2 Chainz, Makonnen, Nelly and many other artist. Producers he admires today are Polow Da Don, Timberland, Dr. Dre, Mike Will, and Dj Toomp. He would like to work with Just Blaze in the future, if possible. Within the next 6 months, Money Karlo will be in the lab creating and designing timeless sounds that generations of people can relate to and enjoy. Words of advice he gives to others are to “Keep God first, stay persistent with your goals, and build up the next generation.” Be on the look out for Money Karlo’s new album “Already Platinum”.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nope, there has been obstacles throughout my career. From deaths, to back stabbing people, to bad timing.

Hey bro.. one has to work very hard to get what he or she wants from life, I have written many songs about my life, on the road, lobster fishing, to selling sea food door to door , to playing in bands, I can go on for sure, but can’t tell it all today lol, I see you are doing well for your self, that’s great..
