Today we’d like to introduce you to Deborah Helms.
Deborah, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I woke up in May 2013 with no memory and excruciating pain on the left side of my face and head which evolved into debilitating migraines for nineteen months straight. After pursuing many different tests, (sometimes multiple times for the same one), several types of doctors; Neurological, Ear, Nose and Throat, Sleep Studies, Allergy tests, etc., I was finally diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia “plus”, of which could not be treated. The proposed resolution was to cut the nerve endings in the back of my neck to deaden the pain.
I opted to find other possible avenues before deciding surgery to be the right conclusion. What I found to reduce the magnitude of my pain were weekly visits to my Chiropractor and Massage Therapist. One day my Chiropractor informed me of Float Therapy and recommended that I try it for reducing inflammation. The exact same day, my son informed me of Floating and at that very moment, I knew it was something I should pursue. The next afternoon, I was Floating and for the first time in nineteen months – I was pain free! I was very skeptical something so simple could have actually worked to remove my migraines. For three days, the pain was gone and then the headaches returned. I went back to Float and have been a “Floater” ever since.
Float Therapy gives the body the opportunity to suspend at zero gravity, “weightlessness”, allowing the entire body to be free of gravitational pull. Floating gives every nerve ending, muscle, and joint, the opportunity to rest. There is nothing quite like the sense of relief. Circulation is improved and inflammation is reduced providing a euphoric result.
The drive back and forth to Atlanta became a bit too much and I wanted to bring Floating closer to the Braselton area. I just knew if it had these kinds of results for me, it certainly could aide in others’ symptomatic health issues. My sister and I decided to open a small shop to explore possibilities in NE Georgia. That was just shy of two years ago and we have just recently moved to a new location that offers additional Float Pods along with many other modalities to include Cryogenics, Oxygen Bar, Foot Detox, Normatec leg Compression to name a few. We also have partners that offer massage, cupping, skin care, hair care and more offerings being added weekly in our Holistic Wellness Center.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Float Therapy was not widely known in Georgia when my sister, Lyn, and I brought this to market let alone in the small town of Braselton. We spent the better portion of the first year educating and marketing the results that are obtained from Float Therapy. Today, this industry is one of the Top 5 Fastest Growing industries within the United States. Our Floaters are embracing us and sharing their experiences with family members, work colleagues, during social activities and on social media. We know and appreciate our Floater Family Members as they are a very large part of our overall success.
So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Infinity Floating, LLC story. Tell us more about the business.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
All things happen for a reason. While my medical issues seemed awful to travel through, this path has lead my sister, Lyn, and I to meet some of the most dynamic individuals who too, are running their small piece of the big puzzle to help others. That indeed is exactly what we are doing as well. We want to assist as many people as possible to rid themselves of pains and aches, symptomatic issues and participate in their overall physical and mental improvements. It is a pleasure to be part of our customer’s journeys as they become healthier and stronger for themselves and their loved ones. Luck – Good Luck – has given us this great opportunity.
