Today we’d like to introduce you to Kareem and Caryn Wyatt.
Kareem and Caryn, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We started our story as a young couple having fun and dating in 2011; with neither of us knowing the future and all it Intel’s. We both learned and discovered our desire to live better and have more than average in life. While embracing the love that started to blossom between us, we also birthed forth our entrepreneurial journey. We started attending a “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” seminar and learning about real estate. Through several years of hard work, mentorship, dedication, and consistency we were able to establish our company; The Wyatt Group Corp 2013 while working the 9-5 job hustle. While working our way to the top as the number one real estate investing company in Atlanta is definitely one of many goals, we knew working our regular jobs would need to stop so we could reach our goals. We believe in our dreams, building our future, and developing as people. As we continued to grow the company, our corporate 9-5 jobs. Since 2015, we have managed to sale and flip over 250 houses and are now self-employed operating our own business.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The “Greats” all say it’s not easy but worth it. This is very valid. We have sacrificed our social lives, splurging on the latest, and a lot of personal development. The transition to change, from being an employee to a boss, and learning how to manage life with a balance is definitely a work in progress but well worth the freedom.
