Meet Molly Hopkins and Cynthia Decker of LiviRae Lingerie in Kennesaw

Today we’d like to introduce you to Molly Hopkins and Cynthia Decker.

Cynthia Decker and Molly Hopkins both have backgrounds in specialty design and saw a need for a retail store in Atlanta where all women could shop for bras and undergarments and saw an even greater need for proper bra wear education. We opened LiviRae Lingerie in 2006 and have worked like mad women and fought hard to have a huge presence in the industry. We have left no doors unopened and have tried to seize every opportunity that came our way. We have made a commitment to fit all women and are still both very active in the business. Our motto is, “No Bust Too Big or Small, We Fit ‘Em All.”

Has it been a smooth road?
It has definitely been a long hard road. No one will ever believe in you as much as you believe in yourself. We were blackballed in this industry when we first opened because we left a huge company and noted player in the lingerie game and were faced with vendors not selling to us even though we did nothing wrong. We left a high-end store to open a shop that catered to all income brackets, and all shapes and sizes. so, it definitely has had some major challenges.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with LiviRae Lingerie – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We own Livirae Lingerie and it opened in 2006. We specialize in custom, proper, healthy fitting bras. Our slogan is no bust too big or small. We fit ’em all. Our life’s mission is to save the world one cup at a time which was branded through our reality TV show Double Divas on Lifetime television for two seasons. Molly is the backend brains while Cynthia cleverly creates amazing designs for the hard to fit and holds the record for creating the largest bra ever made. The combined experience of over 20 years from the two of us makes us a great team, along with a lot of people whom we employee. We have a single brick and mortar store, a new e-commerce site getting ready to launch, and a team of mobile bra fitters in other states. We also just launched our real bras, real women, real stories campaign and have our first official set of national brand ambassadors.

I am most proud that we beat the odds and have created a safe space for women to have a truly personal experience involving an intimate situation. everyone is an angel at LiviRae. It is no secret. We share our time and talents to help women from all walks of life, as well as men, regardless of age, race, or size. We fully operate in a judgement free space. There is no one like us. We pride ourselves in the customer experience with well-constructed underpinnings.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We love Atlanta. It is truly a cultural explosion with so much potential for business owners.\ There is so much to do and so many new things always on the horizon. The thing I like least is the traffic and the bipolar weather. We would love to open another location in midtown, or somewhere central but the price is high and the parking sucks.
