Meet Adam McKinnon of TradeHouse Investment Group in Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam McKinnon.

Adam, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
TradeHouse Investment Group was launched back in July 2017 by my best friends/business partners Bryce Thompson, Branden Thompson, Ian Jackson, Nathan Samuel, Joshua Stewart, & Rey Perez. Initially when they came to me about the opportunity, I turned it down. I was in comfortable place in my life at the time & didn’t have a desire to start up a company. I was working full time for Attorney Phaedra Parks’ law firm (ParksGroup Law) & foundation (Phaedra Foundation). In addition, I also had a part-time job at a retail store. Inevitably, I became apart of the company around October of that same year after my birthday.

At first, I didn’t take the business as serious as I do now. I don’t know why. I guess I was still too comfortable with my life. It wasn’t until the beginning of 2018 that I really saw the vision & the impact this opportunity was having on the lives we encountered. Fast-forwarding to 2019, I was able to leave Attorney Parks’ firm & foundation and quit my part-time in January. No hard feelings at all, but balancing the job & business became too much. I learned all that I needed to learn from Attorney Parks so it was time to move on. Since then, I’ve been developing into a success Senior Lead for my company. The lives I have impacted are proof.

Also, when I initially took the offer from Attorney Parks, I left school to do it. When I left, I was senior at Morehouse College who was $14,000 in debt. After a while, my deferment ended for my scholarships. So at this point, I had zero funds to go back to school. Fast-forwarding to today, my business has provided me with the opportunity to pay off that $14k debt by the end of the year. In addition, I plan on returning to school in August 2020, but I’m not stepping foot on campus unless I’m a millionaire. I’m projected to make my first million by the end of the year as well.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road honestly got a lot smoother through the years. At first, when we launched our business, we didn’t have the guidance from our mentors that we have now. For instance, our mentor/partner Dr. Raphael Spiller didn’t start working directly alongside with us until the start of 2018. I guess he wanted to see how serious we were about this particular industry before diving right in. I can respect it. His impact since then has been a huge part of our success for both him & us.

Another issue we ran into was during the summer of 2018. We were going through a serious database conflict with our partner company, iMarketsLive. Processing new members became a very tedious task and maintaining the memberships of our current members was even worse. But after about three weeks, we rectified the entire situation.

Other than that though, the road has been great! More & more leaders are being developed each day. We just finished a college tour earlier this year. We just held our very first convention July 5-6 & it was a huge success! And it’s only going to get better from here.

Please tell us about TradeHouse Investment Group.
TradeHouse is a company that’s geared towards educating the masses on how to trade in the foreign exchange market(forex). When we first started the company, we did it for the money. We realized how mind-blowing it was that people could literally make money from the phone. You could do it while working a part-time/full-time job. You could do it INSTEAD of working a job at all. But over time, it became bigger than that. We saw how this opportunity was impacting lives, providing people the financial freedom that they were never going to get clocking in for someone else. That’s what I’m most proud of about our business.

What sets us apart? Our members. We have people from all walks of life taking advantage of this opportunity. College students, high schoolers, younger siblings, mothers, fathers, grandparents, doctors, attorneys, anyone you can think of, they’re apart of our group. In addition to the family like atmosphere.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
There’s absolutely nothing that I would change if I could go back & “start over”. Timing is impeccable and my journey is for me to experience what I need in order to grow as a person. I’m grateful for my journey and I’m excited to see what else is to come.
