Meet Holly Cellini of My Floral Bliss in Peachtree City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Holly Cellini.

Holly, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am originally a California girl. I started out helping a friend with a wedding she was working on twenty-one years ago. I had no idea what I was doing. I realized quickly that I found what I was supposed to do, I was hooked. I learned the basics from her. From that point on, I kept educating myself and working with her. We worked for years together. I went out on my own in 2007. I found much success in the Southern California Market. I was blessed to be on the cover and inside several bridal magazines in the Orange County, California. In 2014, my husband got promotion with his company that moved us to Georgia. I rebooted my business here in the great state of Georgia. I was so excited to find successes here as well. You can definitely see my California roots in the style of my design. I have really enjoyed getting to know the people and beautiful venues here. I am excited to continue to grow here in the Atlanta market.

Has it been a smooth road?
Being in business for your self has its own challenges. It is a tremendous amount of work. When you are in the business of working on weddings and corporate events there are no sick days. I have worked on weddings days after breaking ribs, and a tail bone. It is hard but, always worth it. Being able to be a part of someone’s big day is a blessing. That is was always gets me through.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
My Floral Bliss specializes in weddings, corporate events and fabulous parties. I love putting together all of the details of a big event. In Atlanta I am best known for putting together a 10×10 flower wall at the Biltmore Ball Rooms. It was so beautiful. It took over 2,000 blooms to cover it. I hope someday to get to do it again.

I love to give back as much as I can. Helping people with flowers is one of the things I find the most joy in. Bringing flowers in our local nursing home or providing the florals for a charity event close to my heart brings me so much joy. If I won the lottery I would spend my time doing exactly that.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I do feel like Atlanta is a great city to work in. It is a challenge to fight the traffic sometimes. That is the same in almost any city. Atlanta has a great energy. It is a perfect mix of a big city and southern roots.
