Meet Mutha Earth of The Mutha Earth Show in Midtown Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mutha Earth.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
”I will not negotiate my worth for you, when I say this I dont mean money. I’m talking about how valuable you really are as a person. Being a woman in society with a college degree, made me realize you don’t have to be of the world be different. I’m 28 years old and throughout my 28 years of living, learning the most important element in my life was me realizing the missing piece to my puzzle for me was loving myself. The day I gave birth to my beautiful son Jeremiah, my son made me feel beautiful as a woman seeing the scars of childbirth, I felt beautiful. I remember thanking GOD for allowing me to be a mother but I also looked in the mirror and called myself ugly. Ugly for not having the body I desired, ugly for not looking appealing to anybody that I felt needed to tell me I was beautiful. I was at the point of lowering my values in which I didn’t understand yet the power I had deep within inside me.

Throughout life, it took me 28 years to find out you can’t go searching for love in people. You have to find it in you. The day I was held at gunpoint, I remember looking up to the sky asking GOD, I’m here for putting my all into a relationship that wasn’t worth me losing my life, I cried, begged, pleaded, tried to negotiate my worth in keeping my life, GOD had an angel watching over me that night, my phone, money, etc. was taken except my life and tears rolled down my face as I begin to thank GOD and didn’t care if all my money was gone, I had my life. Whether you are a man, woman, don’t negotiate your worth for sex, drugs, abuse, negativity, games, money, suicide, lies, people who tell you, you can’t and you won’t be anything, if you feed your mind with all that negativity, it will manifest into the universe, start saying I will be amazing, I will do phenomenal things throughout my life, I’m beautiful, I’m different, I’m bold, I’m beautiful, I’m special, I’m important.

This is the reason I started my radio show ”The Mutha Earth Show” to show individuals around the world no matter what happens in life, you have to hold on and fight. Most importantly, fight for what is right. Never be a follower to society and what society throws at us on a daily basis, on what beauty should be, how you should act, think, how you should be, because we all are made different physically on the outside but beyond the physical eyes, mentality, spiritually, emotionally, we share similar stories, we bleed all the same and cry all the same as a world. Mutha Earth show is based on self-love first, acceptance, being yourself, and overcoming obstacles. You can achieve if you believe in yourself enough to know that you are a survivor as the late Prince Quoted “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life.”

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being success didn’t happen overnight, I have worked three jobs all on top of being a single mother. I eventually had to let two go to pursue my dreams, I had went back to school twice and didn’t finish at the time. I felt like a complete failure, but I was also trying to figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I then attended SAE in Atlanta, Georgia, it is a school of Audio Engineering and music, I was working on towards getting my associates for Audio Engineering. Also, I had interned at an internet radio station called Sensation Station where I learned some board work and video work but I then have begun to realize I loved to talk on the mic and talk about life and experiences. I started doing plus-size modeling as well, now don’t get me wrong, I love modeling, but I was tired of the world throwing me into a box of pornography. When a woman shows her body comfortability, expressing it openly, people take that and assume automatically you are in the industry of porn. That wasn’t the case for me, I started really taking what society labeled as fat, overweight, ugly, nasty into being beautiful. I got paid gigs sometimes but the money was never guaranteed, always having paid gigs, but it also landed me to start Public Speaking at events and some organizations dedicated to women. It wasn’t easy doing all these things because there were plenty of times I constantly would doubt myself into quitting, but then I started developing a mindset of PRAYER, prayer is the best armor against all trials that sometimes come into our lives to distract us. I also got out of a controlling relationship that didn’t support my dreams at all, I started to really level up and focus on me, I also started to realize you can’t put all your eggs into one basket, my finances was also a problem because I was doing everything on my own, but I remained working hard and to have faith that things would get better.

Please tell us about The Mutha Earth Show.
When I started the Mutha Earth Radio Show, it allowed me to focus on the problems there are out here in society today. When you turn on the news, go into communities even the schools. You hear about suicide rates, homeless, shelters, foster care, people losing their minds, losing jobs, hate on hate crime, putting trust into relationships, churches, families, sexual abuse mental abuse, racism, etc. We forget one major part that we all as people should be able to do share a story, give a helping hand, the world has become too self cater on themselves without not even realizing you can be in the same situation. What gives someone the right to look upon someone and judge not understanding them and the full story, that’s why for Mutha Earth Humility is so important to have, touch a life because your voice could be the very thing that saves someone. What my radio show talks about is so real and raw, whether you agree or disagree, I share light where there is darkness.

Even though I do start my show off with scriptures, I show that you may believe what you believe in but most importantly, trust in what you speak and say, because the universe hears these things and the most powerful weapon that allows growth and elevation is your mind, your thoughts and what you speak from your mouth. I bring all walks of life on my show, you don’t have to be a celebrity, just be true and be you. Your voice matters, a lot of people feel like their voice doesn’t, but on the Mutha Earth show, you may come as you are and speak your truth and share your knowledge and light to the world. There is no room for judgment, I let it be known before entering the room, you are accepted and loved, no matter who you are as a person. Mutha Earth is here to help the best way I can because life isn’t easy. I’m very honored when people come on my radio show and say this was a beautiful experience, I feel good about my life. I feel beautiful knowing that I matter and that loving myself is a key element in life. I should always hold deep in my soul and heart, within that my happiness starts with how I feel about myself and that I can achieve and accomplish anything and that is what Mutha Earth radio show brings to the table. I’m looking for sponsors at the time as well for my show to give other companies a voice and platform to be heard as well on the Mutha Earth Radio Show.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Honestly, there is nothing I wouldn’t do differently because if I wouldn’t have had gone through what I went through, I wouldn’t understand the pain, the struggle of fully loving myself and knowing what I know. I also felt GOD has given me way more than ever before from what I lost and felt I needed at the time. I trusted the process and I still continue every day to pray and walk by faith, not by sight.
