Today we’d like to introduce you to Nuvvo Diosa.
Nuvvo, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Originally I started out as a recording artist formerly known as Scarlett Nuvvo, up in New Jersey, which is where I am originally from. I experimented with my artistry for about ten years. I’ve toured with mainstream artists and became an avid networker over the years. My passion has always been Entertainment, & Black Culture. Experimenting with Music led me down many avenues. Once I transitioned out of being an artist, I went from having my own radio show, to doing what I do now, outside of Trap Tours, which is Artist & Brand Management, as well as songwriting. By the way be sure to check out my artist Lil Freaky, who is an Atlanta native himself. As well, one of my unreleased singles entitled Can’t Lose will be featured on BET’s Tales, next Tuesday 9/3/2019. So yeah, all of my passion for music & business led me down to the newfound mecca of Black Culture & Black Business, which is of course Atlanta. Upon my arrival, I was offered a partnership in Trap Tours of Atlanta. It made perfect sense to me, it spoke to my passion to the culture. It was a no brainer for me to be involved in such a great addition to the city.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road less traveled is always most challenging. What I’ve learned in both business and in life in general, is that nor success or failure is guaranteed, only the process is. And if you go in with the mindset that everything is going to be easy then your failures will probably come a lot faster than your successes. Most challenges I’ve had along the way have been internal, from different struggles of self-confidence and assurance. Being that I’ve never really done anything like what I’m doing now, & being that there is no security in entrepreneurship, there are no guarantees. You’re betting on yourself daily. You are in full control of your outcome. With that comes with mastery and the renewing of your mind. It’s a must. Becoming a true self-starter and a true hustler is not the easiest when you were dependent upon 9-5’s to get you through. It’s a daily transition, and I’m definitely perfecting it. Other than that, with Trap Tours of Atlanta, most of our challenges have been technical. Our bus is the vain of our business, so we deal with issues like the battery draining, due to all the lighting, and TV’s we have on the bus, and just general maintenance that you would come across with any vehicle.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Trap Tours of Atlanta story. Tell us more about the business.
Trap Tours of Atlanta is the ultimate urban tourist experience owned and operated by myself and my partner Edward Jones. We specialize in providing an unorthodox tourism adventure all around the city of Atlanta. We provide a party bus atmosphere, with free hookah, and complimentary drinks, trap trivia and trap karaoke, 13 comfortable leather seats, color-changing LED lights, 4 large Flatscreen TVs, one of which that is stationed in the back window of the bus and faces the public for advertising purposes, a fantastic host, 2 installed camera’s and a microphone for our tourists to purchase their experience, and of course a make-shift fake trap set up. What sets us apart from others is our experience is like none other, we travel to 40+ locations throughout the city of Atlanta, stopping at all the hottest attractions, from the CNN Center, to MLK Museum, all the way to Magic City, Stankonia and THE BLUFF, and so much more. You can see more of that on our website. Not only do we provide the ultimate tourist experience, we also offer Advertising Space, & access to the TRAP BUS for private events such as parties, music videos, podcasts & interviews, photoshoots, movie scenes. & whatever your heart desires. We also host a Bunkin’ Club hop, which is a nightly party bus club hop experience to four different clubs around the city, with full VIP Treatment, complimentary drinks, and a red carpet rollout.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t really subscribe to luck. I honestly think everything happens for a reason both good and bad through the universe’s divine timing. I believe that certain people were put in my life for certain reasons, and vice versa which has always catapulted my successes. Your network is absolutely your net worth.
