Meet Yasmin Wali of Little Sweets in Buckhead

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yasmin Wali.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Yasmin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Little Sweets has been budding for many years. When I was in college, I couldn’t afford to buy Christmas gifts so I would gift Oatmeal cookies to friends and family. Oatmeal cookies are one of my favorites, but you can add much more to the classic cookie besides raisins. Adding dark chocolate chips, cranberries, and any other pairing you can think of to this classic cookie has made Little Sweets what it is today.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, I haven’t run into many challenges with Little Sweets. I’m a person who likes to take their time with projects, so I can to the best of my ability to avoid careless mishaps. Because this is so new to me, I like to research my moves and decide if the presented options will be beneficial for the brand of the company. Now, we know you can’t avoid everything but I also like to keep in mind that everything is not for Little Sweets, which is totally fine.

Please tell us about Little Sweets.
Little Sweets is a gourmet oatmeal cookie company that provides the most delicious Vegan cookies you’ve ever tasted. We love to say our cookies are made with love because baking these cookies is a labor of love. Every ingredient has been handpicked to provide your tastebuds with an overwhelming experience that leaves you wanting more. The most satisfying feeling is witnessing the expression on people’s faces after they’ve taken a bite, which is why we continue to bake these delicious cookies.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Growing up I loved spending as much time as I could with my family. As the only child, I spent a lot of time with adults, but I didn’t mind at all. I loved listening to the stories they would tell and all the free game they would give. I never wanted to be grown but I was definitely interested in what they had going on. I wanted to cook like my mom and aunts, and host backyard parties at home because they were a huge part of my childhood.
