Meet Allyson Walker of JazzyMe Boutique in Online based

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allyson Walker.

Allyson, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always been into clothing since I was 12 years old, I would sketch out clothes on a sketching pad and tuck them away and dream of one day having my own brand. Fast forward to 2011, I developed my name and logo and registered the name but got cold feet so I let the name dissolve and got it back in 2017. September 11th, 2018 jazzyme boutique was finally a brand up and running and I have been going ever since!

Has it been a smooth road?
Smooth road? In entrepreneurship absolutely not, but I take it day by day. Some days are good and fast which is inspiring and some days are so slow but the struggle is not a sale for me it’s really staying motivated and finding the time juggling parenthood all by yourself, being a teacher, and a business owner can be challenging but I feel like it’s worth it.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Jazzyme Boutique is an online-based boutique that provides clothing in sizes xsmall through plus size women’s clothing. The brand ranges from everyday wear to clubwear for the everyday stylish queen. I’m so proud of my brand and I’m even prouder that I have become jazzyme to the point I don’t even get called by name anymore which is Allyson, I now am referred to as jazzy or jazzyme by my supporters. I think that is what sets me apart from the others my supporters can identify with me and I represent my brand.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is definitely for the creatives and definitely stylish. I feel Georgia is leading in a lot of areas right now as far as style, the economy in Atlanta is expanding rapidly and it’s a great place for ambition and to explore.
