I always had a passion for fashion! Since I have been out of high school, I had a hard time figuring out what’s next! So, around the age of 22, I came to the conclusion that fashion is my passion, I love to make other women feel beautiful & confident about themselves. So, I started my online clothing boutique and been going strong for almost a year now!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it has not. I’ve overcome so many obstacles along the way! Friendships, not enough support, and life tackles. And also people not wanting to deal with me because I’m an upcoming business. Not everyone wants to support you or has your best interest if you have the potential of doing better than them. So yes, at times, it becomes hard!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about TyBeautyKit – what should we know?
TyBeautyKit Boutique is an online Fashion Boutique, we do specialize in women’s clothing. Also, with me being plus size, it’s hard for me to find clothing in certain stores, so I definitely make sure I focus on plus sizes! As a company, I am very proud that we are able to make other women feel beautiful. Most of our sizes go from Sm-4xl! We feel as if every woman is beautiful, all shapes and sizes are welcome!
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My mother definitely plays a big part in my dreams & aspirations. She passed away when I was 10 so I knew I had it in me to always make her proud no matter what I choose to accomplish! Also, when I travel state to state that also helps me with networking. I’m very grateful for my close family and friends for all the encouragement I receive from start to now.
