Today we’d like to introduce you to Meron Tadesse.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Meron. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was born and raised in Atlanta to Ethiopian parents.
My parents firmly believe in education so books etc. were huge in my household. My father is also a former professor so he did not play at all then it came to my studies.
Luckily, I’ve always enjoyed reading and even won a speed reading award in elementary school.
Growing up, I always had a lot of interests like drawing, designing, medicine, etc. was not completely sure what I wanted to do. I made the determination in college to pursue business law and fast forward to now, I own my own law firm.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Absolutely not. Law school by itself is enough to make anyone cry. The GA bar is also enough to make anyone have a panic attack. Becoming a lawyer is not an easy process. However, anything is possible if you put your mind to it!
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Tadesse Law story. Tell us more about the business.
Tadesse Law is a business and tax law firm. The business aspect is helping people start and maintain their business. The tax aspect is mostly IRS defense and some tax planning (basically I am the attorney you call when you get a letter from the IRS).
I am definitely known for my fashion. I believe that workwear does not have to be boring and pop of pink never hurt anyone.
I am also known for my calm personality which is great for defusing high-stress transaction and easing client anxiety.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I believe that luck is supposed to be preparation plus opportunity.
I more so believe in blessings. I am definitely grateful for everything I have from waking up this morning to having my business, etc.
