Meet Jerod Hinton

Once I was able to afford my own clothes, I had a habit of buying items that I liked but felt it was missing something. I would go to my local seamstress and would have her simply customize my name on the article of clothing that I wore. After going to her consistently, she said to me I should start my own clothing line because she liked my sense of fashion. I gave it some thought and began designing a few things on my computer because I couldn’t draw or sew. I knew if I was to take this seriously I would cut no corner and go all the way with it. I taught myself how to use the design tool in photoshop, which helped me create all my designs and was able to send it a manufacturer to get samples. Once I got back samples and I was satisfied  with the quality, I would have it mass-produced to market to our customers. I have spent countless hours on my vision and don’t regret one second, because I know this is what I was born for and what makes me happy.

In business no matter what you doing, we all have our ups and downs. In my case, Its been a long lonely road simply because in the beginning, you are chasing a dream/vision that only you can see. I was confident that I was on to something and just kept at it and eventually, I got support from those around me to help chase my dream and together grow the Business.

Here at J Hinton Collections, we specialize in Men Clothing and accessories with top quality. We are known for the quality and pride we take in every article of clothing before we put it out for our customers. As a whole, I am most proud of how far we have come in such a short period of time looking like we been around forever. What makes us unique is the fact that we target two different demographics by setting up two different lines that have different price points. This enables our customers to buy what they can afford and still get the same quality. Most companies that do this tend to cut corners when it comes to targeting a certain target market and for the most important part of starting a Brand. Which to me is have quality merchandise and products that represents the brand no matter the target market.

I was  lucky and blessed to be around people  who also have a great sense of fashion, to bounce ideas off of and get great feedback.
