Today we’d like to introduce you to Niya Rose.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born in Brooklyn, New York. I arrived in Atlanta, Georgia as a teen and quickly became interested in the up and coming acting and modeling scene. In 2016, I decided to try my hand at modeling and fell in love immediately. It wasn’t long before I was being booked as a model for hair and makeup companies and even hired as brand ambassador for Atlanta based mink lash company “B.A.D. Luxury Lashes”. Shortly after, I decided to add acting to her resume and has been casted as a stand-in for a few shows filmed in the Atlanta area including the popular show “Green Leaf” and the new series “Ambitions”.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road as social media spotlights curvaceous and lingerie models. Whereas I am of slimmer stature and fell in love with fashion modeling. It is kind of depressing to see the attention on social media focus be directed to these types of models, however, I remain positive and stay focus to what I really love.
What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I am a fashion model who is known for my diversity. I have numerous amounts of different looks from natural and urban to upscale and glamour shots. My diversity is also what sets me apart from other models.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like the number of opportunities presented here in Atlanta, however, I do not how saturated the industry is.
