Meet Stephanie Carroll of BluGolden, LLC in Chamblee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Carroll.

Stephanie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
In 2014, as I was preparing for our wedding, I realized how expensive floral and other decor were. I immediately began researching alternative options and DIY options for budget-friendly brides as myself. After trials and errors, triumph occurred as I began to create centerpieces, and my own bouquet that actually did not look that bad. Months prior to my wedding day was spent creating bouquets and centerpieces for our upcoming day.

Our wedding day was not only beautiful, but I also discovered a creative side I never knew existed. Fast forward five years later, I have gained confidence and stepped out of my comfort zone in what I create. I target brides who are on a budget but also wants to have a wedding day they dreamed of as a little girl. I have created bouquets, wedding party floral, garlands, pew bows, etc. I use quality flowers, keeping in mind the value of preserving bridal bouquet.

I love meeting new brides who entrust me in recreating their day, in a budget-friendly way.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road at all! As mentioned before, many trials and errors occur (even know) until I create the perfect floral arrangement. From financial investments gone wrong, to firing floral vendors because of inadequate quality of the flower. Each floral arrangement is custom and unique to that particular bride, as such I put great pride in the creation. I treat brides as how I weld have expected to be treated when initially planning my wedding

BluGolden, LLC creates custom silk floral arrangements, bridal bouquets, centerpieces. We are known for quality, custom florals. I am proud that for the past five years we have been able to serve brides on a budget. 99.5% of our brides are referred to us, that tells you something! We have not financially invested in marketing, instead, we invest in quality products that get brides talking!

What were you like growing up?
My parents who are Jamaican natives had me at a very young age. My mom would frequently say her life started young. Despite sometimes, not having adequate funds, my parents tried their very best raising us. My parents worked very hard, and most of the time was not at home because of work. There were three of us in the household, I being the oldest had much responsibility. I helped to take care of my sisters and sometimes felt like a mother. I tell people that I do not feel like I had a childhood, as I was a child looking after my sisters. As such, I was very mature, an introvert and kept to myself. As an adult is where my creativity has emerged!
