Meet A:M Almighty of Drug Life Music in The Greater Atlanta Area

Today we’d like to introduce you to A:M Almighty.

A:M Almighty was born and raised in the inner city of Milwaukee, WI. A city known more so for its beer and cheese, Milwaukee however had a darker side to it than most people from the outside looking in would know. The inner city of Milwaukee was strongly known for heavy prostitution, pimping, and heroine usage. However growing up in this environment did not affect A:M in a negative way, it instead turned him into an amazing storyteller. His first introduction to the recording studio happened at the early age of 7 as his father was an aspiring Hip Hop artist himself.

By the age of 14 A:M was writing his own music and by 18 he was recording. In 2011 he released five mixtape projects under a different alias earning him nearly Half a Million plays via Twitter and other social websites. Later that year he was incarcerated for a gun possession charge and forced to put a hold on his music for quite some time. Shortly after his was acquitted of all charges he moved to Atlanta, GA to further pursue his music career. He now resides in Atlanta, GA going under his new alias “A:M Almighty” and is currently releasing new music under the independent record label Drug Life Music.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
In 2017 I suffered a very near-death experience having a Brain Aneurysm Rupture. Doctors said I could never walk, talk, or let alone remember who I am. And here I am today fully recovered and making the best music of my life.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Drug Life Music – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Being the first artist off Drug Life Music means everything to me because of what we stand for. Drug = Do. Right. Under. God. Life = Live. Infamous. For. Eternity. I simply tell my life story through my music, the good and the bad. It so happens my experiences of coming from nothing to something help and inspire people. I strive on being a storyteller and a lyricist and that’s what the greats are made of.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Well seven years ago I moved from Milwaukee WI to Atlanta and it changed my life for the better. I plan on taking this amazing independent record label to national heights. I am set to drop my debut album “Siloah” on March 22nd of 2020. Exactly three years after my near-death brain injury.
