Today we’d like to introduce you to Donald & Ann Savory.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Over the past 30+ years while holding a corporate position, I was a freelance fashion designer/dressmaker in New York City; specializing in bridal and formal wear. We made the transition from fashion designing to interior designing during the construction of our home in Manalapan in 1999. Our in-depth involvement with our home design and construction revealed our talent for doing interior designing. We acquired the skills for custom drapery and other window covering, custom bedding, furniture selection and placement, and closet organization.
After being impacted by corporate restructuring and downsizing in December 2013, this presented the opportunity for my wife and I to officially launch our interior designing business, Savory’s Creations Unlimited, in January 2014. In May 2015, we made the decision to relocate to Cumming, Georgia, as we saw this as an opportunity to expand our business in the Atlanta area. Our business services both domestic and international clients.
