Today we’d like to introduce you to Iesha Parks.
Iesha, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I always wanted to start an online store when I was 18, but I didn’t have the discipline or funds to start a business. I continued to work, and once I began to work for a state agency, I saw the need for my dream. My former supervisor would always tell me you need to start a business for working women on the go. I felt like that was my confirmation. I started Forever Galore in May 2019.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth?! Definitely not. The road has been rocky and unexpected. Some of the struggles have been time, making sales and marketing tools.
Please tell us about Forever Galore.
Forever Galore tagline is ”Making rare jewels in the workplace.” Forever Galore represents classy work-chic clothing for rare jewels. Our buyers search for versatile fashions for the ”woman on the go!” We cater to every work environment, entrepreneurs, investors, students, teachers, church members, and even those heading to brunch with a friend. I am most proud of the recognition that my store has received. You never know who’s watching with social media. My business is strictly dedicated to help rare jewels create polished looks and look great for less! FG fits the shopper on a budget and provide rare jewels on how ”work attire” can transition to different occasions (church, brunch, and etc.) That’s what set Forever Galore apart from others.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from my childhood consists of being care-free and no bills. As a child, there are no responsibilities it’s all about being a kid. Although I’m pretty sure I couldn’t wait to grow-up, it’s essential to enjoy the journey and don’t rush life.
