Today we’d like to introduce you to Darius Norman.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Darius. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Two years ago, I published my first book called “Rewriting Financial Rules.” Becoming an Author allowed me to share my personal experience with others on how I dealt with a financial obstacle that I encountered and the strategies I utilize to regain control of my own personal finances.
After I published ”Rewriting Financial Rules” I was giving the opportunity to do a radio tour which allowed me to share my story and appear on over 100 radio and podcasts show though out the United States and Internationally. While I was on the radio tour, a program manager from the radio station heard an interview I had with one of the radio host at the station. To my surprise, she made contact with me to let me know that she was impressed with my story and interview. She then begin to discuss and offered me an opportunity to host my very own radio show. At first, I was reluctant but I decided to take the opportunity. Now, I have been hosting my own radio show close to two years and I have discovered it too be one of the greatest passions that I take really serious and I’m really proud of.
Has it been a smooth road?
In retrospect, I must say hosting my own radio show has been a wonderful experience. It has allowed me to do some self-discovery in realizing my own potential and hidden skillset. The most challenging thing I have experienced hosting my own radio show is being my own worst critics. I believe presentation is everything. I want to make sure that I am communicating effectively with my guests and my listeners.

“The Darius Norman Show” is a daily and weekly inspirational radio platform where we merge Business, Entertainment, and Education by introducing our listeners to guest experts from different industries and backgrounds who are making an impact to inspire, motivate, and inform our listeners to reach their highest potential. We have close to 25,000 weekly listeners. The show airs daily in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Northern Kentucky on 101.2 FM WTTAFM HD from 1-2 pm EST and every Thursday on WDJY 99.1 FM in Dallas, GA from 3-4 pm est. I think what makes my show different from other shows is that we provide our guest with a comfortable environment to be genuine to display their expertise and ideas which provides our listener’s exposure to new information, insight, and encouragement.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Atlanta is a fantastic city with a rich history. The opportunities are huge and the diversity is really moving the business culture forward. The only dislike I have for the city of Atlanta is the traffic.
