Thanks for sharing your story with us Wesley. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I got started in Digital Marketing with my first business, which is real estate investing. We quickly realized that we needed to get really good at generating leads online to grow the business. So, we started learning everything about google AdWords, Facebook ads, local SEO, and social media marketing to get the exposure that we needed to bring in real estate leads.
After spending a few years doing this, the business grew, and our reach was deeper in our target market. Anywhere you looked you would see our ads on google, Facebook, Bing, for “we buy houses” and similar search keywords that sellers will type into the search bar. This really helped our business succeed and I realized that most of my competitors and other business owners just had no idea how to do this.
Fast forward a year or so, I got even better at Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and local lead generation and I really wanted to help other small to medium business owners. Leads and sales are the lifeblood of all businesses and if you don’t get enough of them, your business will suffer and cash flow will be inconsistent. I took several courses, tweaked my approach for other business niches/industries until I had a system that will help any business now generate a lot of local leads from searches being done online.
That is when EclipseLocal Web Consulting was born, in the fall of 2015. I decided that I wanted to help as many business owners that I could, get more local customers from the internet with predictable strategies I have learned over the years. It works for any local service business, real estate broker/agent, mortgage professionals and loan officers. We have 18 business clients that we do internet marketing consulting for and really make a difference in their businesses with the added revenue we create for them. It is very rewarding to meet business owners who work hard, provide a great service, and make friends in the process. And we are glad we can help them grow their business at an affordable price and get a great return on investment!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Along the way we have lost some clients that just weren’t a good fit, or didn’t have the vision of a marketing budget to bring in more revenue.
We learned that you can’t please everyone, and some business owners are just not a good fit for your services. The ones that we can help are open to our suggestions, ready to grow now, and have a marketing budget to get started generating more business from the internet. We can’t be everything to everyone, and you quickly realize that you just focus on the clients that you can help, and go the extra mile for them.
I think with any business it is about perseverance, listening to your customer, and providing excellent service consistently. There is nothing that makes me happier than a client that gives us a raving review or testimonial on how we helped them grow their business. That is what it is all about.

What were you like growing up?
I grew up on Loganville, GA back when it was a small town and everyone knew everyone else. Baseball and Basketball were my favorite sports and I played both in high school.
After high school, I enrolled in Andrew College in South Georgia to play baseball on scholarship. From there I went back to community college in Gwinnett and then transferred to the University of Georgia where I got my degree in Economics.
