Today we’d like to introduce you to Jalisa and Nigel Ingram.
Seamless Imagery emerged to the scene in 2015. One day while obtaining her degree in Fashion Marketing, Jalisa was sitting in a photography class that she didn’t really have a desire to be in. Her Professor walked over to her and simply said, “just try it”. So she did and loved it. So much so that she went out and brought her first point and shoot…Canon Powershot SX40 HS(I know…started from the bottom)
She thought she could take on the world with this camera. Jalisa turned her love for Photography into a hobby and as she grew, she decided to offer her services to anyone that would give her a chance to prove that she could create “Moods and Memories” with her basic camera.
It gets better…
As years went by she started to gain more experience and her clientele increased. Let’s just say things were going great. Until one day she lost her zeal. She put her camera down and focused on her college career alone.
But thanks be to God one day Jalisa met a man that had similar interests and it just happened to be Photography. They started to hang out and as they were getting to know each other, he encouraged her to pick her camera back up and try it again. She did, but this time with a deeper passion. Nigel and Jalisa bounced ideas off of each other, started doing business, and challenged one another.
After dating for a while, the dynamic duo married each other and are now doing life, business, and creating beautiful images together.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, the road has not been smooth at all. There were times where we wanted to give up and quit. What kept us from not throwing in the tile was the mere fact that it wasn’t just taking beautiful images of outstanding individuals and beautiful scenery. Photography is our Ministry.
During many shoots, we have encouraged, uplifted, built, and prayed for many of our clients.
So challenging, yes! Quiting, not an option!

We specialize in Fashion Photography, Event Photography, Portrait Photography, and Street Photography.
At Seamless Imagery we take pride in creating, “Moods and Memories.” We try our hardest to make EVERY client feel their absolute best. Our aim is to make our clients feel special and confident in themselves. With a few jokes thrown in the mix our clients leave happy and ready for their next session!
What sets us apart would honestly be our personality and tenacity! The love we have and work ethic we embody is shown in our work.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Our proudest was whenever we were afforded the opportunity to cover the WIDU Anniversary event at the Crown Coliseum, where featured artist were Hezekiah Walker, Anthony Brown, J.J Hairston, and Marette Brown Clark were the headliners.
