Andre and Andrea, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We (Andrea and Andre) became friends while in college at the University of Tennessee. After graduation, we both eventually ended up in Atlanta. We remained friends and started discussing a potential business partnership where would bring a new business into the city. After about a year of research, meeting with business owners and franchisors, and exploring various business opportunities we were the most impressed with the Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning Franchise. We decided to purchase two territories, one in Atlanta and Decatur.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. Though our franchise is 13 years old, we are fairly new to the city. We are a newer and eco-friendly Carpet Cleaning Franchise going against some of the giants of the industry. Old habits are sometimes hard to break. Marketing against bigger names has not come easy. Once a customer uses our service, they quickly understand the advantages that we provide over the other names because of the magic we can often display on our customer’s carpets. Getting in the door is the obstacle.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the variety that this city offers. We are a melting pot of cultures all across the metro area. That variety offers the best in food, music, art, and business opportunity. The city is vast and has such a large area to cover, which is sometimes daunting for a new business owner. We are excited about the possibilities that Atlanta and Decatur have to offer.
