Meet Archie Stewart of CROWNed Enterprises

Today we’d like to introduce you to Archie Stewart.

Archie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my Virtual Assistance journey when I was still in college. I was 21 years old when I decided I wanted to seek opportunities to work alongside female leaders but at the time, I didn’t realize I was working as a Virtual Assistant. I really was just looking for ways to serve. At the time, I was heavily involved in leadership on my college campus and I was looking for mentors to serve under. Virtual Assistance just kind of fell into my lap! I wasn’t getting paid to do it either. I started as an intern with a nonprofit organization for tween and teen girls. My flights were paid for as I planned conferences and managed our high school interns so being paid for it while I was in school wasn’t a concern. I had financial aid and I also had a work study job so I really was just doing what I loved to do. I worked with that nonprofit from 2014-2017, then I started working consistently in the banking industry when I graduated college.

I was a teller turned banker from 2015-2019 and while I love helping people and serving, I wasn’t being fulfilled by a strict 9-5 traditional job. From 2016-2017, I worked at another nonprofit where I did mostly admin work, recruitment, and planning for 16-24 years old in the criminal system. It was then where I found that I loved to work behind my computer and every so often in a client-facing space. In 2018, I moved to Nashville, TN and launched my official VA business. It took many many experiences and industries to get to where I am now but I can honestly say I absolutely love what I do and the entrepreneurs I serve.

Has it been a smooth road?
Absolutely not. My biggest challenge was my own mind. For years, I’ve known I wasn’t supposed to work a traditional job. I feel like God has been pushing me in that since 2014 after an internship I took in Georgia. At that time, I knew I wasn’t supposed to be working a traditional job but I didn’t know what in the world He wanted me to do. So, I just trusted the process He laid out for me. I was terrified of the possible inconsistency in income, running into dishonest clients, doing this thing by myself, etc. My biggest fear was that I would be inconsistent with it. I’ve never been consistent with many things. I am a quick start and I have grand visions but I’m not the best at execution but I’m a great delegator. One day while I was living in Nashville, I just decided to take the plunge and dove into it headfirst.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
CROWNed Enterprises is a Virtual Assistance business that helps female photographers and online coaches increase their revenue by automating, streamlining, and managing their day to day workload! I specialize in business automation such as managing client relationship management systems (CRMs), streamlining how business owners capture and cultivate their leads, maintain excellent customer service, and improve their client experience. When my clients hire me, they come to me because they need someone who will think two steps ahead of them. I make their discovery calls easier. I help them earn money in their sleep. I am the one who works behind the scenes so when their clients sing their praises, they can look back at me and know that their business is not only running smoothly but it’s in great hands. My clients call me their right-hand woman because I handle all the things in their business so they can focus on their vision and the bigger picture of their purpose.

I am most proud of the fact that my clients trust me when their business. They literally hand it over to me and they know they are in great hands. I am also super laid back and relatable. I’m very particular about the clients I work with. All of my clients can say that they value me as their online business manager and in some ways, a friend. I’m always checking in on them personally, sending gifts, and really letting them know that I care outside of just the business side. I know first hand that their business can’t run efficiently if they aren’t 100%.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Most of my clients come from Georgia (Atlanta area) and North Carolina (Charlotte area). I don’t really target those areas ironically, that’s just how the cards have fallen and they are all amazing. Atlanta is a BOOMING city of not just traditional professionals but also small business owners as well.
