Today we’d like to introduce you to Aric “Agramz” Gramby.
Aric, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m From Charlotte, Nc I moved to Atlanta August 3rd, 2006 I was fresh out of the streets when I moved here I wasn’t sure I wanted to do next with my life I was very confused because I was so used to fast money and a fast life. So with a few times of being out in Atlanta’s nightlife I realized I wanted to live the same lifestyle before but get paid for it this time so with a few connections.
I started hosting parties in 2009 that first year can you believe it I only hosted one party that year but I didn’t let that stop me at all then in 2010 I got booked wayyyyy more up to now in 2019/2020 I cannot complain it’s all God and I also won an Atlanta award this year.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I’m mean in 2009 I hosted one party that year I was kinda mad about it I felt I should have had more gigs for me it was times I wanted to quit but it got better over time.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m an Event Host, Curator, Fleet Promoter but I’m actually more known for the hosting/ host of the event that keeps the crowd entertained & what I’m most proud of now is that my brand grew really good I mean I have sponsors from clothing to liquor and energy drink companies that reach out to add me to their brand….. I think what set me apart from others is that I’m actually being me and my voice is one of one ya know.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was the goofy class clown I always made people laugh/I always had a great personality great sense of humor my interest was sports football and basketball which I love the most I tried baseball a few times just didn’t stick with it oh & I love the girls lol.
