Today we’d like to introduce you to Imani Randolph.
The Owner and CEO of WINKED STUDIO LASHES is Imani Randolph. She’s a 25-year-old avid beauty enthusiast originally from Chicago, Illinois. Miss Randolph graduated from the illustrious Clark Atlanta University in 2016 but not without getting her pearls. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated initiated under the infamous Alpha Pi chapter. After her adventures at CAU, she traveled to New York where she obtained her master’s degree in visual communication and discovered her love for creative directing.
Following a tough year in 2018 of being mentally drained with corporate life, she was spiritually and physically “forced” to finally follow her dream of starting her own business. Imani believes Winked is the product of God’s undeniable grace over her life. She sees her company as a testimony that God will continue to forever make you uncomfortable and unsatisfied with life until you surrender to his will.
Since starting her business she’s been able to develop and further her love for creative directing. Imani oversees all avenues of her company from the PR to the packaging. She spends hours sending out products to her loyal and growing customer base, while also thinking of new and creative ways to grow her business.
Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been challenging but, nothing worth having will be easy one of the many lessons I learned in college. Financial obstacles will be the main struggle especially if you don’t have the capital saved up or to borrow from. There will be days when you make money and days when you don’t but see it through.
Another hurdle is having the tenacity to get up every day and work for yourself. Unlike a corporate job or career path, you don’t have the luxury of someone overseeing that you’re doing your job. You have to push physically and mentally to show up for your business even on the bad days. That mindset will carry you over the finish line every time.

Imani hand packs every order to ensure they look as perfect as she envisioned. She understands every customer spends their hard-earned money on her products and she wants them to feel appreciated and excited once they receive their items. She feels that this amount of care sets Winked apart from other lash companies.
