Auna, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
The Cute Shuttle transportation company started nearly five years ago, transporting participants during large, concerts, festivals and events all around the city of Atlanta. Living on the Westside for several years and experiencing the transportation barrier first hand, I knew exactly what the community needed; an eco-friendly transit system that would connect its people from point A to B. Late 2015 we created a customizable mobility system, using environment-friendly electric vehicles to shuttle residents including local businesses and nearby college campuses. Shortly after we partnered with Common Courtesy Inc and the Mayor’s Office of Resilience who awarded funding to provide service primarily to residents of the Westside at no cost. Through this collaboration, we developed a Courtesy Ride program providing FREE rideshare services to residents in the following neighborhoods: English Avenue, Vine City, Ashview Heights, AUC, West End, Castleberry Hill, and Downtown Atlanta. Neighborhood residents are then transported to the following community resource sites such as @ Promise Center, Westside Works, On the Rise Financial Center, Atlanta Community Food Bank, Truly Living Well College Town Urban Farm, and iwi Fresh Farm to Skin Spa. This constructed transit program quickly became a popular demand, opened many doors leading to today’s successes.

The Cute Shuttle is a transportation service designed to transport commuters. Our mission is to provide short distance transportation using eco-friendly vehicles for residents and visitors during daily commuting, concerts, festivals, and special events. We focus on tailoring routes and services according to the rider’s needs; specializing in customer engagement, live activations, and wholesome riders experiences. You’d have to ride the Cute Shuttle and the only Cute Shuttle to get this type of experience and that’s what sets us apart.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Within the next three years, Cute Shuttle will be servicing three additional counties such as Hapeville, Dekalb, and Decatur. Five years we will be in four different cities not only providing electric vehicle transportation but connecting corporations directly to customers using digital technology. One of our ten-year goals is to assist countries all over the world to solve their transportation concerns.
