Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Sutton.
Jennifer, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
It is rather an organic series of events to explain how Art Meso developed. I started in the industry as a wardrobe stylist and soon began to do fashion shows for various companies and events. I worked with modeling agencies, commercial productions, and editors and built strong relationships. I enjoyed it but I knew I wanted to do something innovative and I also wanted to impact the community. I merged my background of visual presentation and my passion for art, fashion, and people to create Art Meso. It provides a platform for creativity without limits while giving back.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a challenging journey but rewarding. Starting any business is a challenge within itself, but there are some unusual challenges that comes with working with international talent and businesses.
Various challenges such as; language barriers, time zones, currency, and transportation all comes with complications. However, every show, we find a way to minimize the challenges and be proactive in addressing any issues that may arise.
My advice for other women would be to always stay professional and to ensure that integrity and good character is within the foundation of their business.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into Art Meso International Art and Fashion Exhibition story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a designer, art curator and the creator of Art Meso. Art Meso is an international art and fashion exhibition. Art Meso is sought after for its unique collision of high fashion runway productions, art exhibitions fused together to create an unforgettable entertainment experience.
Our highlight of the show is our engaging Live Exhibits, during this experience we will spark your imagination and indulge your curiosity with high fashions to the custom props, each exhibit exposes bold interpretive-art and human experiences in an eye-opening, awe-inspiring environment; it is truly a luxuriating presentation for the eyes, not to mention the show includes a VIP Lounge and a full runway show that will leave you on the edge of your seats.
We have launched Meso Marketplace and Art Reception in 2019. This is a marketplace to shop and find unique and special products from various designers, retailers and artists. We also have year round art installations at various venues nationally and throughout Atlanta.
Our shows reach beyond Atlanta highlighting talent from all over the world including Paris, Poland, Singapore and Spain to name a few. We bring the international community and businesses together to create a platform for diverse talent in the Arts while giving back to the community through charitable organizations.
We have raised over 75,000 for non-profit organizations to date. We have also partnered with W Atlanta Downtown, Aloft Hotels, Microsoft, Arcadis, Lamborghini, and Make-A-Wish to name a few.
We are honored to have the City of Atlanta acknowledge the creative content, talent, and partners that allows Art Meso to thrive. We are extremely proud and thankful that the City of Atlanta proclaimed that October 7th is ART MESO DAY!
Who do you look up to? How have they inspired you?
I am inspired by women I see in my everyday life including my sister and my grandmother. They have represented resourcefulness, passion, integrity, selflessness and drive.
