Today we’d like to introduce you to LeCleaise Smith and Kwame Cunningham.
LeCleaise and Kwame, before we jump into specific questions about the organization, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Health & Wealth Foundation Inc. was founded in November 2019 by LeCleaise J. Smith and Kwame R. Cunningham with the intent to build healthy relationships in the community while spreading global wealth. We recognized that there was a need for educational support services and health & wellness awareness in underserved communities. The seed was planted from a simple conversation about passion and giving back to our community. As we fast-forward to present day, we have positively impacted 1,800 people.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
This journey has had its up’s and down’s, but we continue to focus on our main goal and mission that we have to help others. The biggest obstacle thus far has been funding everything we do ourselves prior to receiving our 5013© paperwork for eligibility to apply for grants.

Health & Wealth Foundation offers an abundance of supportive services to underserved communities with the focus showing dedication to our community. Some of the services we offer are S.T.E.A.M. enhancement programs, student/educator fitness programs, and mentoring programs. We are most proud that we can give hope to our youth and being able to inspire them to strive for greatness. What sets us apart from others is we embody the mindset of two hustlers that are always grinding for a cause and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our outreach happens.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
We are very proud of our impact and the work we have done, so we wouldn’t have done anything differently.
