Thanks for sharing your story with us Mariah So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m inspired by a near death car accident that I suffered in 2003 four days before my 39th birthday May 28th that left me in a coma for two months and hospitalized for three months, Leaving me to learn how to talk, read,write and walk all over again. Now living with (TBI) Traumatic Brian Injury was my biggest fear, and now my challenge in life is working hard to be significant and a great business owner to help people and myself dreams come true. I felt it deeply in my spirit to build a brand around my father’s last name R.I.P Alex Jerido who was killed at the age of 25 when I was 6 years old and that too was an impact on my life I became numb. I suffered from a lot in life domestic violence and a divorce. I even I raised 5 children alone and I have 9 grandkids but I never gave up. I had a lot to fight through starting my life on my journey to be a business woman, all I knew Is that I wanted to be a blessing to others in life starting with my own.
The foundation of Jerido Productions was to be developed in detail to help everyone’s life of women, men, and children who had experienced setbacks and have a hard time bringing their dreams to reality, which was me too. My passion is continuously fueled by the desire to restore and empower other individuals that I encounter. Serving as a role model, I’m making a difference in the livelihood of others and encourage them never to give up. I donate my time, expertise, experience and creativity to the entertainment industry so that I may enhance and contribute to the advancement of the human condition. In my world, anyone can be a star.
I am determined to have a career in the entertainment industry to be all that I can be. I dreams of owning my network MJ OWN NETWORK to top it off. Whether producing creative content for public television, magazine or showcasing talent, I have open doors and given the up and coming and entertainment professionals a prominent platform to present their talent with Jerido Productions. I kept hope alive because I had dreams and goals too. I desire a better life, and expectations is something that will happen because I believe in miracles and that I will accomplish the unthinkable one day. My Faith is strong, I’m very humble, and I always put God first. When you have faith in God and sow a seed, know that everything is gone to be alright one day, and I believed that. Life can either make you or break you, but I never ever stop Building myself. “I’m built for tough”
I’m still standing, after all, I’ve been through in my life. Now I’m an Author and I have story too and I’m excited to share more Testimonies one day. Now I’m back to rebuild my empire so I can help not just myself but other little girls, boys, women and men who need my help. God is blessing me to bless others, and leading me in life. I’m not “perfect” I’m just like anyone else who wants to be happy and get life right even music is a big part of my life too, I love trying to sing and that too I’m going to accomplish my album one day all my dreams helps me heal and send messages to others whose going through something. I just like to have fun, I’m living a second better life now and taking back what was stole from me. I’ve changed a lot in my life! It wasn’t easy at all! and its still a process but at the age 55 I’m feeling my best I know my worth now and have a Multi Million Dollar Business to accomplish to help people.
Now walking by faith and not by sight is helping me and I made my circle smaller, and moved to Georgia! To pursue my dreams. The road is tough but if I can do this so can others “mindset”. I’m the CEO and Creator of three Tv shows in the making: I Wanna Be A Model too(Model Competition), Beautiful By Jerido (Healing Show) and Follow Me Get Plugged-N (Talk Show) Never Give Up Because Dreams Do Come True For Some People.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it hasn’t been smooth people rejected me along the way, hating for no reason and I became competition when my business started to grow, so they stop working with me when my money ran out, leaving me stuck with my shows never reaching back out to me to see how they can help in some kind of way. Not having a budget to work with is very hard and has a lot to do with production not getting done. I don’t own my equipment, so it’s time consuming getting Production done and believe it or not I know how to run the cameras and do some editing work. I taught myself and went to The Art Institute Of Atlanta Ga. Today I’m working on getting my own everything to help my business more.
Adversity! Played a big part at times and things happen for no reasons on my journey. Negative family and friends and no support was a lot to deal with but I prayed and walked away from it all! I’m staying focus on the dream and vision God gave me.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have done more research, but most of all, my journey got me where I’m at today. It was for me to share my testimonies I’m the prime example of getting back to business. My purpose is to help others in the future by leaving my legacies and my biggest accomplishment coming is I Wanna Be A Model Too Reality TV Show with the show Associate Producer Kenya Redd form Runway 1on1 help leading the way is a God sent. A show created because I Wanna Be A Model Too and helping people of diversity because anyone can be a model for career or fun and age is just a number.
