Donovan, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my repair company originally almost two years ago and in the beginning, the idea of the business was to sell phone accessories. It wasn’t until I indulged myself into further research about the mobile phone industry and how exponentially growing its value was. I took a break for about a year with the business and jumped back on it at the leg of 2019. I’ve done everything solely when it comes to my business. (Marketing, graphic designing, sales, website, & repairs) it’s continuous hard work, but it’s something I’ve built from nothing and I’m eager to see it grow.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Finding capital was the hardest part. I struggled with getting money out of people not that I necessarily needed to but it could’ve helped a lot along the way and cut some corners as well.

Case it Breaks is a mobile screen repair company in Atlanta, GA. We provide high-quality repairs servicing throughout the metro Atlanta area. I specialize in iPhone/iPad repairs. I most proud of instant growth since the revamp of the company and how many people want to use our services. Our prices and mobility set us far apart from our competitors.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
It’s played a tricky role. Luck is something I quite don’t believe in, but if I had to, I would say I receive more good than bad. I believe God is the most important factor in my life and definitely the center of my business.
