

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob Sturgies.
Rob, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I first got involved in Real Estate in the year 2009. I first started by enrolling in a Commercial Real Estate Institute called CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). My love for the business was from the development and investment side, then also from a client to the client sales relationship. In the year 2014, I decided to obtain my Real Estate License assisting clients with buying and selling of Residential and Commercial property. I partnered and trained with a brokerage company named Chapman Hall Realtors Atlanta North until I was ready to start my own Realty company (Sturgies Realty LLC) then to start my investment company (Sturbank Real Estate Group LLC).
Today I am helping numerous clients with the buying and selling process (Residential and Commercial) in the Atlanta Metro area along with building a Real Estate Investment Company to purchase Commercial property units in the Atlanta Metro area.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road at all. Ever since I have got into the business, I have learned so much. I am still learning more each day. Every deal is different, as well as clientele also. In the past, I struggled with making sure I crossed every T and dotted every I. In this business, you have to be sharp 24/7 because by not staying on top of your deal on a day to day basis, you could put your client and your business in jeopardy. But with every mistake, there is an opportunity to learn and grow from it. I also learned how to manage my time with my business and my family. Having a family with your wife and kids can already be challenging at times, so I had to make sure they came first before business.
Pease tell us about your business.
In my business as a Realtor, I create relationships with clients who are looking to purchase and sell Residential/Commercial Real Estate. I specialize in Residential, Commercial, Land Development, Investments and Lease property. I would like to think I am known for being the most trustworthy and honest person in the business. I want people to feel like I care about their experiences and turnout while working closely with me. I want them to feel comfortable with me, whether if that’s finding a home, selling a home or having any type of transaction while doing business with me. As a company, I am most proud that I can bring an above and beyond experience for my clients and in knowing my clients have a fantastic relationship working with me.
I think what sets me apart from others is I bring authenticity, dedication and hard work to the table. I treat my clients as partners in this business. If they fail, I fail, If they win, I win. Also, I am in the relationship business. I’m not in it to serve you one time, then forget about you. I am here to stay and build with you in the future.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Not to sound arrogant but I honestly wouldn’t have done anything differently as I think about it. I have always believed what happens is meant to happen. All of my struggles and mistakes have gotten me to where I am today, I believe.
