Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Adams and Shawn Pearsall.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I originally got started cleaning homes in New York City. My cousin had a nice apartment, he was single at the time and of course would not like to keep it clean. So I would go there and clean up for him but make him pay me for doing so. So I decided to make a business of it and picked up a few more clients within his building.
Fast forward about five years later, I was now living in Atlanta, GA and although I was working for the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation, I was looking for additional ways to generate income. My fiance’s business partner’s wife had a cleaning company but was on the verge of walking away from it. We discussed going into business with one another and ran The Ultimate Finish for approximately two years together. Being that both of our husbands are General contractors and Construction managers we were able to learn and become exposed to the commercial side of cleaning as well Post-Construction side as well. My business partner and I dissolved of the company although we still partner with one another on certain projects and that’s when A&P cleaning company started.
A&P stands for Adams and Pearsall which is the initials of my and my fiance’s last name. We decided to go into business with one another as we possess different talents which embodies a great functional operation for us. I am the face of the company. Most clients speak to me and Shawn is the numbers guy. He a professional Estimator so he is the one that price out the jobs.
A&P specializes in general as well as detailed Residential, Commercial and Post Construction cleanings. Our clients consist of Homeowners, Business owners, Realtors and General Contractors.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
For the most part, it has been a smooth road. The most challenging part is getting the commercial contracts so the business can generate residual income and we can employ more people.

A&P cleaning company is a detailed cleaning company. We specialize in Residential, Commercial, and Post Construction cleaning. For residential, we mainly do move-out and Move-In deep cleanings as well as regular routine cleanings. For commercial cleanings, we do regular routine cleanings as well as Move-In initial cleanings. For Post- Construction we do paint and caulk removal and top to bottom cleaning to prepare the property to go on the market or for the next guest to move in to. I believe what sets A&P cleaning company apart from other companies is our relationship we have with our clients and our attention to detail. We take pride in our work and providing exceptional service to every client that do business with us.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
We have a way with connection to our clients where we make them feel like family. Our clients not only feel like they hired a company but someone they can build a working relationship with. They appreciate our attention to detail which has been the basis of our success.
