Meet Asha Riley of Bella Amour Boutique in LaGrange

Today we’d like to introduce you to Asha Riley.

Asha, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started Bella Amour Boutique eight years after graduating from West GA. I know you are probably wondering, why so long!? Well, I was very indecisive about what business to start. Initially, I wrote out a business plan for a makeup bar, but being that I stay in a small town, where people didn’t wear much makeup, I thought it wouldn’t do well. So, I went with my next passion which is fashion! From there, Bella Amour was created.

Today, I’ve shipped to around 40 states. I am blessed for my customers and friends who support me daily by either sharing, liking, referring my boutique or shopping with me.

Has it been a smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road, but that’s what makes the journey interesting. I’ve had to pretty much figure everything out on my own. Finding reliable vendors, determining my customers, trying to create intriguing content, all while working a 9 through 5 and taking care of my parents, it’s hard out here, lol. But I’m very proud of myself, to be where I am today without guidance is amazing to me.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Bella Amour Boutique story. Tell us more about the business.
I am Asha Riley, the owner of Bella Amour Boutique, which is a brand that embodies the essence of femininity and style all the while remaining functional and comfortable. Our items are not only multi-faceted but also extend from trendy to timeless styles. When you order from Bella Amour, you are sure to not only experience above and beyond customer service but also quality products for great prices.

What I’m most proud of is opening my first store, it’s been a year now and it’s doing quite well. I’m still learning and growing in this business; I’ve also gained opportunities that developed my character of leadership. I’m not stopping here. There’s so much more in store! I’m definitely a businesswoman with a purpose.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The boutique industry is very saturated but it’s definitely not going away. Over the last decade, retail has continued to grow despite challenging economic conditions.
