Consummate Human Resources executive Aja Greene is CEO of The AjaPreneur Consulting Agency, LLC, one of metro Atlanta’s most rapidly growing small business and HR consulting services agencies. She brings more than 15 years of leadership and collaboration to the table and is renowned for propelling others to their next level of excellence. The company was birthed out of Aja’s successful track record of connecting dots that yield significant rewards in corporate, small business and entrepreneurial arenas. She, along with her competent team of agency partners, is committed to providing excellent service with outstanding outcomes in her clientele’s careers, businesses and small business endeavors. Her position at the helm of her company makes her the only African American female in Conyers to own a physical location for HR and small business consulting.
A native of Miami, Florida, Aja has called metro Atlanta home since 2010. Her expertise has been utilized in a broad array of industries to include publishing, broadcasting, manufacturing, events planning, travel, nonprofit and retail. In every environment, she has consistently proven to embody the qualities of professionalism, precision and productivity.
Aja’s Human Resources experience runs the spectrum of entry-level to executive in domestic and internationally based companies. Brand recognition includes CBS Radio, Rolling Out Magazine, Sears Roebuck and Company and Spirit Airlines. A proven leader, she climbed the corporate ladder to become the only African American in leadership in the India-based technological firm for which she worked. When she declined an opportunity to relocate, she was presented with another opportunity to lay a solid foundation for a now thriving event hall.
Her leadership has been further illustrated in the support she gives to her son, a lifelong student-athlete. Accordingly, the honor of Best Team Mom was bestowed upon her by the Boys and Girls Club in Miami. And, upon relocating to Atlanta, she was entrusted with board membership in the Rockdale-Conyers Little League by the Rockdale Football Association, where she was also tapped to serve as Event Director. Aja earned her Associate’s degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from City College in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Strayer University. Her Human Resources professionalism includes membership in the Society for Human Resources Management, and she earned Professional Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute. She is also a former affiliate with the National Association of Black HR Professionals. She has been featured in Who’s Who in Black Atlanta and Voyage ATL Magazine.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not at all. Grew up in one of the toughest cities in the world – Miami Dade County, Florida. Teen mom. Laid of corporate job – relocation to Atlanta from Miami. Failed Relationships. Failed Business Ventures.
