Meet Shinjini Das of The Das Media Group in North Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shinjini Das.

Shinjini, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I graduated from Georgia Tech with an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering in 2014 and worked in technology consulting as well as digital marketing for about two years total before quitting to start my media company at 24. The gap between popular and intellectually motivating digital content in the media was just too wide to ignore. My media content company specializes in creating content to motivate go-getters to go get their goals.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The mission to motivate go-getters to go get their goals has always been widely understood. What has been difficult is accumulating the target audience dedicated to achieving their goals like go-getters. More importantly, the challenge has been acquiring a dedicated target audience of go-getters committed to paying to get motivated to go get their goals. Once the correct audience is your own audience who has the capacity to pay what your products are worth, you will then be able to grow your business exponentially. We are hopefully reaching that point as a media company.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Das Media Group – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The Das Media Group specializes in creating content to motivate go-getters to go get their goals like go-getters. We specialize in digital messaging and digital productization of those motivational digital messages. Our first two digital products are my (1) 1-Hour GoGetter Consultations and (2) Unapologetically, Shinjini, my memoir at 26 e-book sharing my story of how becoming a go-getter changed my life. A go-getter is someone who makes the first move to go get their goals and does not wait for the goals to come to them. Both digital products are being sold at scale, and the double-digit sales growth has been exciting to experience, after quite some time of only focusing on sharing the motivational messages. What sets us apart from other media companies is the hyper-personalization in our content, as well as the focus on motivating go-getters to take action to go get their goals. What I am most proud of is reaching previously underrepresented target audiences in developing countries who previously had no access to positive motivation.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plan for the future is to scale The Das Media Group into a fully profitable media company with a targeted audience of go-getters, and an expanding but highly targeted portfolio of digital products catered to motivating them to go get their goals.
