Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole D Jones.
Nicole, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
“Everyone needs a Xiomara in their life.” In my early twenties, I was Blessed to meet a phenomenal woman by the name of Xiomara. How we came into each other’s lives was actually because of a drama-filled situation, but in it all she was brutally honest with me and never judged me. I can remember things getting so intense that we were literally “toe to toe”, yet she never gave up on me. Now, over two decades later, she is a great friend and an inspiration continuously in my life. Having that safe space with someone has taught me how to dig deep into the roots of issues within myself to become a better me. This has also made me realize how many of us do not have that person in our life that is willing to do what she did for me.
I am a Life Influencer that supports women in achieving goals in every area of their lives. Most of us go through life and have to make decisions from places that we may be broken in. When we do this, I believe we never reach our full potential. Making decisions like that can also lead us to being misunderstood or even judged. I understand the importance of having that person that is willing to look past your flaws and insecurities, but who also helps you to become confident, strong, and prosperous in every aspect of your life. I believe having this person can be instrumental and life-changing. This is what birthed “I am Nicole D. Jones”.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge for me has been branding my business. There have been many restless nights of finding the balance between something that is a true passion of mine, and turning that passion into a business. I wrestled because I know the importance of business, but I never want anyone to feel like the business aspect is most important to me – because it’s not. To resolve this, I had to be honest with myself and realize I couldn’t do it! LOL. This is how I was able to create a Team to assist me. The greatest part of my Team is that they are all previous clients or mentees.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I’m known for helping people reach their goals by focusing on four main areas: Mindset, Education, Accountability, and Lifestyle, also known as The M.E.A.L. Plan. It’s not about FOOD! LOL. The M.E.A.L. Plan is about the steps we must take to manifest what we desire in every aspect of our lives; personally, professionally, emotionally, physically, and financially. It is an interchangeable process that gives people the blueprint to achieve their desires. I walk through life with you, believing you can’t get to where you’re going alone. I give people a realistic approach on how to achieve their individual goals by first shifting their mindset. Then, I educate them along the way, giving them access to resources and tools to be successful. Of course, there is accountability, which is why no one will never go through the process alone. Ultimately the process produces the lifestyle my clients desire. What sets The M.E.A.L Plan apart is the transparency and authenticity you get.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment so far is having the opportunity to assist a couple in purchasing their dream home. The couple moved to Atlanta a little over a decade ago. When moving here, they found a subdivision they desired to live in but were not in a position to purchase. During our consultation, I decided to take the “It’s greater later” mindset approach. Through this, we were able to create a budget, improve a low credit score, and purchase in the subdivision of their dreams in less than a year! I was SO proud of them for doing the work! It was a fantabulous feeling! I was even able to tour the home with them and their realtor. Words still cannot express that moment. I am just so humbled and grateful to have been a part of their journey.
