Today we’d like to introduce you to MajaMajor MMB.
MajaMajor MMB is an entrepreneur, inspiring musical musician, clothing designer & natural-born athlete from Atlanta, Georgia. Born Shaquille Winn-King on March 6th, 1993 and raised by his independent beautiful mother, Pamela Winn. He also grew up alongside his brother Nikita Winn, who in which is actually biologically Maja’s first cousin, which should tell you the kind of outstanding phenomenal mother that Pamela was. Growing up, everyone has always thought that Maja was the only child due to his charming charisma and flamboyant personality. Maja is known for his handsome looks and being well dressed but also for his confident, uplifting spirit. As a natural-born leader and top-performing athlete, Maja earned scholarships from top colleges like UGA, FAMU, Charleston Southern, Southern University & Savannah State.
A high school graduate of Westlake High and a four-year varsity player on Westlake’s football and Track Team. Maja is also a Jr. Olympic Champion and formally nationally ranked in the 400m, 4x100m, 4x400m, and 4x800m Relay. Maja graduated high school, won the National Jr Olympics, won high school Region Champion in Track & field his sophomore, junior, & senior year. He also was an astounding outstanding football player. All of this to say, he accomplished this with the absence of his mother and father. Nothing like you’re an average teenager. Maja’s integrity, dedication, inspiration, motivation, confidence and pride, which all came from his mother, is the reason he was able to accomplish so many great things in her absence and is also the reason he is the man he is today. Maja went through his high school years as an independent young adult. Becoming the role of his mother and father while his mother served a 78-month term in federal prison for a white-collar crime that took Pamela away summer 2009 before Maja’s sophomore year of high school. Maja’s father, Kelvin King serves a current life sentence. With the help of his high school track coach Robert Wilson, Maja ended up going College on a full track and field scholarship. Until he ended his last day of his sophomore year in college while attending Kansas City Kansas College, Maja got a call from his mother that she’s officially home and that’s when he up and left his fully furnished apartment in Kansas City and came home to finally be reunited with his mother and brother.
From then on, Maja founded Maja League Records and is the owner of Maja League Apparel formerly known as AintShitSweet Apparel. Maja is searching to build value and revenue for himself while focusing on building a brand to generate generational wealth. Maja started his first clothing line in 2014 called HighLowkey that he came up with while he refused to work another regular 9to5 job. Maja also was affiliated with other clothing brands such as One Rich Bastard which was also a heavy movement in Atlanta and Alabama in 2013. Maja originally came up with designing clothes from his own personal background of fashion which he had gotten from his mother and uncle. Dressing has always been a major form of expression for Maja which was always important to him because he always cared about his appearance to himself, not only to others. Maja League Records also started around 2014 when Maja really developed an over loving passion for music. Maja has had an ear for music since a little boy, singing and performing rap and hiphop lyrics over the tv and radio. Maja started rapping in late 8th-grade middle year and in high school with close friends in groups like The Polo Kidz and Polo Team. Maja finally got serious about music and became an independent artist in 2014 recording his first single “Why The Fuck You Tryna Play Me” which he released on SoundCloud.
Today Maja currently has two musical projects out now called “Minding My Business #MajaMix 1.0” “KhiKho LinQuo” and “AintShitSweet” which is available on all musical platforms. Welcome To The Maja League!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We all struggle in life when we branch out to try new things. Everything doesn’t happen overnight and it’s on a rare occasion that something does. The hardest obstacle to me is actually starting. You will never be 100% ready to do something you’ve never done before. You have to take full initiative to manifest your dreams. Whether no one believes in you, whether you’re doing everything on your own or whether no one around you chooses to support you, YOU HAVE TO KEEP GOING! I remember starting my first clothing line in 2014 and I received no kind of support from the people closest to me or from the people around me. Instead of getting depressed or upset, it only made my drive, ambition and passion for what I wanted to do even stronger. Obstacles are just temporary burdens that we have to sometime carry with us until we’re better equipped and more experienced to become a teacher of the game than be a student. Life isn’t about losses, it’s about lessons.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The best part of being an Atlanta native-born and raised would definitely be the ability to rise from the bottom of the barrel to the top of the food chain in an abnormal amount of time. Atlanta has the power and ability to make people a star! Unfortunately, even if it they aren’t a natural-born star or if they just started a new venture because of something they’ve seen someone else doing. Which is something that I don’t believe in. The only downfall about Atlanta is that everybody wants to be a star or be famous for that matter. Even if they have little to any or no natural talent, even if they have to copy or put on a facade just to get attention. Atlanta Is Black Hollywood!
