Meet Rebecca Norgaisse

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Norgaisse.

Rebecca, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It was my freshmen year of college Aug 2012, My dad and I would go to the gym in evenings . LA Fitness to be exact. Over time I grew close with the women who worked the front Desk (Ms. Angela) and she helped me get a job working the front desk also and from there my fitness journey and mind expanded. I Moved around to different gyms to expand my knowledge about the industry and in 2016, I became an operations manager for a small gym. I slowly started getting into personal training because I would fill in and teach classes when my instructors wouldn’t show up. At that point, I grew a passion for personal training and realized I was good at it. At that point, I made a name for myself which is Body Goals by Becca. I specifically picked this name because I never liked comparing my body to another person and I don’t like it when my clients do it either. Body Goals by Becca is about you being your OWN body goals and appreciating your body and self so much that you want to keep making it better and improving. We work out because we LOVE our bodies not HATE it. Over time I continued training myself and other people who would ask if I couldn’t train them also.

In December of 2018, I found out I was expecting my first child. At the time, I was a flight attendant, so I worried that I would be out of work for a long time, so I decided to study on becoming a certified personal trainer. In May of 2019, I became certified and in June 2019, Body Goals by Becca became an LLC and in July 2019, I Launched my very own fitness apparel clothing line online (bodygoalbybecca.com)! I had my Baby in August and after two months, I got back into training, getting my self back in shape and started accepting clients again, but this time as Body Goals by Becca and Certified. With a new baby, I had a hard time being away all the time, so I turned my training sessions into the online personal training session. And with this Epidemic who could’ve guessed that it was the BEST business decision. So here I am today, still growing, still expanding and working hard and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me.

Has it been a smooth road?
Not. It is never easy being your own boss. I Trusted a lot of the wrong people. I was new to the industry and there is still so much to learn. And learning how to balance things was a struggle—work, life, school, family and etc..

Tell us more about the business.
My business revolves around fitness. I am a fitness Coach/ Trainer and a Nutrition Coach. I am known for working out and training as well as now selling Fitness clothing. I am proud of its growth and how people can say my business’s name and know exactly what it is and who it is from.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see my self having my own gym and being in my own space and working with other like-minded individuals.
