Today we’d like to introduce you to Kierra Martin.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I always wanted to start my own business because I like to work at my own pace and make my own money. I came up with the idea of selling accessories when I was sitting in my dorm room at The University of West Georgia. I wanted to create a service that would be appealing to both male and females. How can you go wrong with accessories you can literally accessorize anything. From where I first began at West Georgia February 25th, I have seen my work pay off. I have also experienced a rush of customers at once and I also have started to get more and more loyal customers. Hard work pays off, I got to where I am at now by staying relevant and providing accessories that I know will attract anyone.

Has it been a smooth road?
So far my business has been very successful and flourishing. Of course, I have those days when I don’t receive orders but I am always confident that the next day I will have orders.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the AccessoriesByKie story. Tell us more about the business.
AccessoriesByKie is a business that specializes in providing accessories for anything. It is known for making jewelry such as bracelets, waist beads, and anklets. AccessoriesByKie also provides accessories for your hair such as hair clips. Electronic accessories such as phone cases, AirPod cases, and Apple Watch bands. The work I do sets me apart from other business because all the jewelry I make is never the same and is creatively hand made. The thing I am most proud about is that I never give up and I am always thinking of different things to incorporate into my business to keep it relevant and different.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In 5 to 10 years, I see my business being bigger than what it is now. I see it having more than just accessories. It will incorporate apparel and shoes. I see it being talked about I’m not just Georgia but other states as well.
