Today we’d like to introduce you to Anisa Palmer.
Anisa, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I found my purpose and have joy in helping others find theirs. It really breaks my heart to meet people of all ages all over the world who wish they did something different, like open that bakery they always wish they had but felt it is too late at 81 or wished they cared more about their finances before they were lying on their death bed, or traveled more, or loved harder. Whatever I hear, there seems to be a constant in the wishes when they confess their true hearts’ desires. I hear regret. I hear fear. I hear sorrow. We only have one life to live, we have to live it to the fullest. My book Purpose: The Ultimate Climax, helps readers all over the world find their purpose so they can truly live their best lives. My dear mother lost her life to breast cancer at the young age of 38. Life is not promised to no one.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I spoke about publishing my first book while serving in the Armed Forces. I went overseas twice to Iraq with the maroon berets or the Airborne Paratroopers out of 82nd Airborne Division. I was waiting to publish after I got my doctorate as Dr. Palmer and realized, why wait! Soon after I completed my master’s degree, I finally set a deadline and published. We all have a story to tell, we hold to pen to our stories. If we do not write those stories, someone else will. Let your story inspire someone else. You can do it!

Palmer Firm Group began as a business coaching firm specializing in purpose strategy then expanded to nonprofit consulting, public speaking, and training. I am known for speaking on topics in health, entrepreneurship, and leadership. What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I believe success is living your best life. That can be defined differently for every single human being on this earth. To me, it is a balance game. Health, family, and legacy all matter. In health, that is broken down even further to include spiritual, physical, financial, and mental. Our greatest wealth is health, having a loving family to share it all with matters to me in addition to creating generational wealth, leaving a legacy. So many families are plagued with the generational poverty curse, what can we all do to help end it, especially in minority communities?!
