Meet Marc Stallion

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marc Stallion.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Marc. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Well, I wasn’t always ready to speak up for myself or anyone for that matter. I felt far removed from the world and I didn’t understand how to voice my opinion, or why it mattered. It took consistency and patience for me to get to where I am today. Not only with business, but mentally and emotionally.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve never seen a smooth road. I don’t know what that looks like. Nothing in my life has ever come easy. Not even the simple stuff. It’s interesting, because a lot of people see my image or my brand or whatever you want to call it, and they immediately assume that things just come to me. Friends and past clients of mine have even voiced their thoughts; stating that “You’re just so lucky.” Or “Everything is just so easy for you.” I just shake my head and say, “Only if you knew.”

From childhood to adulthood, I’ve had to overcome learning disabilities like dyslexia, CEN, paranoia and anxiety. All with no parental guidelines or diagnosis. Growing up as a black boy, a black child in America is extremely unique. A lot of your pain and concerns go unnoticed by the world and even more hurtful, your family. A lot of people, no matter how close fail, or refuse to acknowledge all that you actually have to endure. So, smooth road? No, that doesn’t exist for someone like me.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I’m an International Youth Mentor, Motivational Speaker & Personal Growth Coach. I Got Next, isn’t just a slogan or brand, it’s a state of mind. A reminder for those who desire to be more for themselves and most importantly for the world!

I speak to schools, students & teachers in different parts of the world. I work 1-on-1 with students that are entering, or in the midst of their college careers. And I work closely with high-school students that are seeking more out of life and their adolescence.

I am most proud of my clients. That thing that I see in a students eyes when they have a breakthrough or new discovery… it’s priceless. When these brilliant students look me in the eyes and says “I’ve been thinking about suicide”… “I’ve never felt important or understood my worth until now” my heart aches but my spirit is lifted, because I know that this work goes beyond me. And everything that I’ve suffered from or for is now worth it. Because it allows me to tap into these students in ways unexplainable. My age and experiences is what sets me apart. There aren’t many students that I cannot connect with. But I believe the number one thing that sets me apart is how much I genuinely care. I could do this for a lifetime free of charge if it were possible. It’s not about me, it’s about the future and being able to see it prosper.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The quality of Care and Consistency are the most important to my success. If there is no genuine care and love with a whole lot of consistency… then nothing else matters.
